"The really wonderful moments of joy in this world are not the moments of self-satisfaction, but self-forgetfulness. Standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon and contemplating your own greatness is pathological. At such moments we are made for a magnificent joy that comes from outside ourselves"

JOHN PIPER

Mr. Morgan

Music Teacher

  • B.A. in Commercial Music, Simpson University (Redding, CA)

Having first arrived in Tulsa in February of 2025, Mr. Morgan was overjoyed to partner with Tulsa Classical Academy in his pursuit to bring wonderful music into many young lives. Although being involved in his high school’s art program, his forte was more akin to photography, cinema and other mediums. As a young man, Mr. Morgan then began to explore his adoration of music and then firmly committed to learning the craft. In turn, he enrolled in Simpson University’s Music Department which is located in his city of birth. There he rigorously studied all things music and graduated with his Bachelor’s in May of 2024. During his tenure, he was heavily involved in the school’s Jazz Ensemble, Chorale, Worship Team, Songwriting Group and more. Outside of TCA, Mr. Morgan enjoys running audio and visuals for Victory Kids ministry and learning more about music production. In his free time, he loves to play basketball, cook, write songs and explore the Tulsa area.
