TCA clubs help students build community and develop virtue through leisure, shared interests, and mentorship from teachers.
FINANCE
The Club exists to teach students the principles and practices of personal finance, saving, investing, and developing a wealthy mindset to ensure long-term wealth building and financial independence through discussion, research, and lectures.
CHEER
Participants will build confidence in their abilities of cheerleading, dance, jumps, and stunting. This exhibition squad will get to show off its skills at high school basketball games, as well as at other TCA and community events.
MUSIC
The Honor Choir seeks to guide students towards developing proper vocal technique, improving breath support, learning to read sheet music, and singing together as an ensemble. There will be several
opportunities for the Honor Choir to perform publicly throughout the school year. While prior choir experience is not necessary, the student must demonstrate a reasonable ability to carry a tune.
MUSIC
The Beginning Orchestra exists to bring truth,
goodness and beauty to students through learning to
play a string instrument. The goals include proper
technique for instrument handling, correct bow hold,
ear training and pitch accuracy, site-reading sheet
music, and playing in an ensemble. Learning to play a
string instrument is among the most difficult, but the
rewards often include confidence, coordination,
increased academic skills, strong community, and a
life-long love of music.
