Ms. Fanning

2nd Grade Teacher

  • B.A Psychology minoring in Early Childhood Intervention | University of Tulsa

Ms. Fanning is a second grade teacher for Tulsa Classical Academy. She has previously taught 8th grade English for the Tulsa Public School system and is going into her second year at TCA as a 2nd grade teacher. Ms. Fanning loves instilling a natural sense of wonder and excitement for learning in her students. She greatly encourages the Socratic method of discussion during class time and strives for every student to feel comfortable talking about their ideas as well as asking questions. Ms. Fanning believes in the importance of shaping each student’s mind, soul, and heart so that they will not only be great academic achievers, but virtuous leaders as well.


Ms. Fanning loves being outdoors, reading, gardening, cooking, traveling, and playing with her German Shepard, KIlo. She was born and raised on a ranch just outside of Tulsa where she grew up riding horses. She was classically educated at Augustine Christian Academy then attended the University of Tulsa.
