Mrs. Mileur

1st Grade Teacher

Mrs. Mileur is a first grade teacher at Tulsa Classical Academy. She was born in Tulsa and raised in Pryor, OK. She graduated from Pryor High School in 2002 where she was involved with athletic and academic clubs. Mrs. Mileur went to Oklahoma State University and graduated with her B.S. in University Studies with emphasis in Elementary Education.

She had her first child in 2006 so she decided to stay home and raise her family before pursuing her career. During this time she taught preschool at First Baptist Church Jenks for 5 years. She also taught classes on Sunday and Wednesday night. She finds joy in teaching children and seeing their fascination as they make new discoveries. Once her youngest child entered school she decided to get involved with her childrens’ school. Before coming to TCA she worked at Jenks West Elementary as a Health Assistant. Being in a school setting revived her love for education. She has been married to her husband Andrew for 20 years. They have 4 children, Cannon (17), Madison (13), Lexi (10) and Bella (7).

In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, vacationing with her family and attending FBC Jenks. She is involved in a marriage ministry as well as working with kids of all ages. She is very excited to join the mission of TCA! She sees value in the virtues, curriculum and technology free learning that TCA implements.
