Mrs. Romano

Sixth Grade Teacher

  • B.A. studying anthropology, history, and classical studies, The University of Tulsa.

Mrs. Romano is originally from upstate New York but has since fallen in love with the city of Tulsa where she now resides with her husband. She spent 3 years as an academic tutor for the athletics department at TU before coming to TCA. It was during her bachelors in her honor’s program seminars where the world of classical philosophy and medieval theology was opened before her and she became utterly enamored with it. She enjoys contemplating and discussing big ideas, and loves nothing more than getting students excited about their academics by enlivening it before them.

When she can, she visits back up north to her family’s horse farm where she grew up riding and training in the art of classical dressage, gardening, and milking goats to make artisan cheese. In her free time she is generally caught in a cozy corner with a good book and a cup of tea.
