Mrs. Suarez

Second Grade Teacher

Born and raised in sunny Southern California, she has always felt called to serve and inspire children. Her journey in education began as a paraprofessional, where she discovered the joy of supporting students in their learning. She then stepped away from the classroom to embrace the rewarding season of being a stay-at-home mother. During that time, she earned a degree in Educational Studies from Grand Canyon University. After graduating, she began substituting part-time, which strengthen her passion for teaching.

Outside the classroom, she cherishs time spent with her husband and their three wonderful children. Mrs. Suarez enjoys serving at her church and making memories with her family. In her own time she loves reading, restoring furniture, and organizing .

A few of my favorite classical quotes:

“As long as you are proud, you cannot know God. A proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you.” C.S. Lewis in Mere Christianity.

“One day in summer Frog was not feeling well. Toad said, ‘Frog, you are looking quite green.’ ‘But I always look green,’ said Frog. ‘I am a frog.’ ‘Today you look very green even for a frog,’ said Toad” Arnold Lobel in Frog and Toad are Friends
