A Place to Call Our Own?

Finding a facility for a school like Tulsa Classical Academy is very difficult. When we started, we assumed we’d locate in one of the recently vacated TPS buildings, but we soon discovered that TPS doesn’t work with charter schools that is has not authorized. We looked far and wide throughout Tulsa County, evaluated every conceivable kind of building or arrangement, and ultimately started to consider the idea of building a building. We did not take this lightly as it is a major decision. Today, we toured an absolutely lovely property. It is not anywhere near where we thought we’d locate the school (we have mainly been looking in the Union district), but it is such a lovely piece of property it’s hard to think of anything else. We want tree and rolling hills and green spaces and this property has it in spades. We’ll keep you updated as to the progress, but needless to say we would be really lucky to have such a lovey campus.
