Onsite Interviews with BCSI Staff

We met today in Tulsa with representatives of the Barney Charter School Initiative of Hillsdale College. The William S. & Ann Atherton Foundation graciously made their offices available for the meeting which lasted several hours. The meeting represents the next step in the process after we submitted an application to BCSI in July. We will receive notice from BCSI in September if they elect to support the effort but we are optimistic based upon the discussions in the meeting.

Mr. Ronald Garcia, Headmaster

Mr. Garcia started his teaching career in Glendale, Arizona at Great Hearts, the nation’s most prominent and successful network of classical charter schools. He then served as Dean of Students and taught Ancient and Medieval History at Great Hearts Cicero Preparatory Academy.
