Board Officers Nathan Phelps, Julie James, and Ryan Mullins attended BCSI Board Development at Hillsdale College last weekend. The training is focused on educating boards on best practices for governing public charter schools. It is also a wonderful way for boards to meet their counterparts at other BCSI schools throughout the country. The two-day training covers financial, legal, and instructional topics and is completely free for boards. Our remaining board members will attend the next scheduled training in November.
