Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Smith is the 7th grade math and science teacher at Tulsa Classical Academy. She comes to TCA with 9 years of classroom experience teaching various grammar school grades. She also has 4 years spent as an instructional coach where she worked with teachers who needed strategies and modeling of good teaching. Mrs. Smith most recently taught math and reading in a title 1, dual language program in Tulsa. She is passionate about teaching well and wants students to feel loved and seen.


Mrs. Smith found her love of teaching early in life. She left California and moved to Tulsa with her husband to raise a family. She enjoys life with her husband, teenage son, dog Mia, and their chickens. Mrs. Smith also enjoys board games, sudoku puzzles, good coffee, ‘punny’ humor, and building lasting relationships.
