Mr. Smithson grew up in the small town of Pittsburg, Kansas, and graduated from Frontenac High School in 2013. He then relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to attend Oral Roberts University in 2016. He then completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2018. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Theological & Historical Studies at Oral Roberts.

 Mr. Smithson has always had a passion for serving the next generation of students throughout his life. In 2014 he pursued this passion as a youth Pastor for several years until 2019. Mr. Smithson also served in the Residence Hall Director role at Oral Roberts University from 2018 – 2023. He served in this role diligently to provide the best possible experience for ORU students. While he was there, he aided in the establishment and management of the university’s first Esports team. Mr. Smithson strove to leave a mark on each student he had an interaction with.  He is ecstatic to play a role in the cultivation of students’ minds at Tulsa Classical Academy.

Mr. Smithson will be married on July 15th, 2023, to his beautiful wife, Abigail. He is excited to start his new life as a husband with their two dogs, Ollie and Ace. They enjoy cooking, sports, and exploring the world together.
