Miss Upthegrove is a third-grade teacher from Jenks, Oklahoma. She grew up walking the trails on Turkey Mountain and going on bike rides on Riverside. Interested in governmental affairs, she majored in Political Science at Oral Roberts University. After college graduation, she was a paraprofessional for one year at Bixby and taught at Sapulpa last year. She loved babysitting children back in high school and saw joy in the educational profession. She volunteered at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch in the summer of 2017 and is excited to be part of Tulsa Classical Academy’s mission. Her ideal day involves sitting by the fireplace, drinking coffee, and reading a good book. Creative writing is one of her greatest passions, and she enjoys reading historical fiction.
