“Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we know all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?"

Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

Mrs. Grant

3rd Grade Teacher

  • B.A Ministry and Leadership with a Youth and Family Ministry Concentration | Oral Roberts University

Mrs. Grant is a third-grade teacher at Tulsa Classical Academy. She graduated from Oakley High School in Oakley, Kansas. Following high school, Mrs. Grant attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, and graduated with her BA in Youth and Children’s ministry. She also has a Master of Education in Neuroscience and Trauma from her alma mater, Tabor College.

She married her husband, Collin, during her time at Tabor. After college, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where they lived for 22 years. They have four children: Titus (26), who is engaged to Ali; Eli (23), married to Abby; Maya (20), mommy to Kamber (born July 2024); and Paige (16), a junior at Metro Christian Academy in Tulsa.

Before moving to Tulsa, Mrs. Grant was a paraprofessional at The Classical Academy in Colorado Springs. She worked mainly with a fifth-grade team. All four of her children attended The Classical Academy for varying years, where they received a rich education and came away with many lasting relationships. Mrs. Grant was also a special education paraprofessional for a short time. Upon moving to Tulsa in 2020, Mrs. Grant started working at Pathways Adult Learning Center, a program for adults with intellectual disabilities. As a classroom teacher, she was able to help adults continue their education after high school. She would say she grew in love, faith, and compassion at Pathways.

In her free time, Mrs. Grant enjoys all types of arts and crafts, reading, Bible study, drinking coffee, and spending quality time with family and friends.
