Ms. Clawson

Sixth Grade Teacher

  • Masters student at St. John’s College, Santa Fe, pursuing a Masters of Arts in Liberal Arts with a certificate in Classical Education
  • B. A. in Humanities, concentration in Art History, Brigham Young University, Provo.

Ms. Clawson is a sixth grade teacher at Tulsa Classical Academy. Ms. Clawson grew up in the mountains of southeastern New Mexico and is a life-long athlete and outdoorswoman. Ms. Clawson began her teaching career as an eighth grade Leadership and Humanities teacher with a live online classical liberal arts school and taught there for six years, during which time she also homeschooled her three children utilizing classical methods and curriculum. She became interested in Hillsdale’s charter school initiative and is excited to join the TCA community and foster a deep love of learning amongst her students.

 

Ms. Clawson loves reading and adventuring with her children, playing sports of all kinds, traveling, working with her dogs and horses, tackling homestead projects, trap shooting, and being outdoors as much as possible.
