“To see a world in a Grain of Sand, And a Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour”

WILLIAM BLAKE, AUGURIES OF INNOCENCE

Mrs. Wilhite

Art Teacher | Grades 4-8

  • Bachelor of Science in Design, Housing and Merchandising | Oklahoma State University

Mrs. Wilhite has a varied background in the design industry – from wedding dress design to floral design to mural painting. She found her passion for teaching in the Pre-K classroom and is excited to bring her knowledge of fine art and love of teaching together at TCA. Mrs. Wilhite has spent time studying oil painting extensively in Italy, and has worked as a designer in New York City and Dallas. She grew up in the Tulsa area, and currently resides in Jenks with her husband of 14 years and two children. As a family they love to spend time outdoors fishing, kayaking, visiting national parks and gardening. Mrs. Wilhite spends her free time sewing, playing piano or painting with watercolor, her favorite medium.
