Mrs. Thomas is a special education teacher who is originally from Chesapeake, Virginia. Her journey to Tulsa, Oklahoma, is driven by her deep commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for children and fostering a lifelong love of learning. With valuable experience teaching Special Education in Virginia’s Title I schools and counseling, she humbly brings a rich background and insight to her new community. She is a proud veteran, served in the United States Army for seven years.

 

Along with her professional pursuits, she has a passion for writing and a love for reading and studying the Bible. Her faith is the foundation of her life, and she takes joy in leading Bible study groups to foster spiritual growth in others. She also finds great joy in nurturing her family, cultivating a warm and loving environment for her husband and five children. They share a love for travel, music, creating cherished memories, and enjoying fun times together.

 

She has a great love for sports and played basketball in college. Now, she has found a new passion in supporting her husband as he coaches football, highlighting her commitment to both her family and the younger generation. This is her first experience in a classical education setting, and she is eager to grow and learn a great deal.
