Mr. Coburn was born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma and graduated from Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. From there he attended Louisiana State University where he met the love of his life, Nicole, a Louisiana native. The two soon married and moved to Tulsa where Mr. Coburn graduated with an M.S. focusing on Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State. After an 18-year career managing senior healthcare in Oklahoma, he chose to change careers and focus on teaching.

Mr. Coburn is honored to have the opportunity to teach at Tulsa Classical Academy and believes that fostering young minds will lead to a brighter future. He and Nicole have 2 lovely daughters and spend their time outdoors, trying new food, going on exotic vacations, and LSU Tigers football.
