Mrs. Maust is a kindergarten teacher at Tulsa Classical Academy. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School and earned her degree from ORU. She has been married for 21 years, and homeschooled her four children for 13 years, using both classical and preparatory curriculum. She eventually opened a Cottage School teaching grades K-4, then went on to teach in a Title 1 school serving immigrant children before coming to TCA. She is passionate about not only educating children to read and write but affirming their immense worth in the world.

Mrs. Maust, together with her husband Jon, began City of Hope Outreach 15 years ago which is a local ministry serving those facing homelessness. She is joyfully committed not only to her classroom, but to caring for those who are often forgotten on the streets of Tulsa.

She is excited to be a part of the TCA community, teaming with Hillsdale College. For fun, Mrs. Maust loves to bake on Saturday mornings, read missionary memoirs, walk her Golden Retriever, Aslan, and play with her wonderful children.
