We are delighted to name Mr. Jason Poarch the inaugural Head of School of Tulsa Classical Academy. Mr. Poarch comes to Tulsa Classical Academy from Dallas-Fort Worth where he was previously the Headmaster at Founders Classical Academy–Frisco and El Paso Classical Academy. Prior to that, he taught at Founders Classical Academy–Lewisville which was the first Barney Charter School in the country.
Mr. Poarch completed his Ph.D. coursework at the University of Dallas and is currently working on his dissertation. He has Master of Arts degrees from the University of Dallas as well as St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland, and received his BA from Bryan College in Dayton, TN.
Mr. Poarch and his wife, Elizabeth, have three young children and another one on the way! They plan to relocate to Tulsa prior to the delivery of their fourth child who is due in October.
Mr. Poarch is already busy working on our behalf and will soon begin interviewing candidates for the role of Assistant Headmaster, Executive Assistant/Registrar, and Director of Special Education/ELL. He will begin interviewing teachers later this fall.
This moment marks an incredibly important milestone on our journey to open Tulsa Classical Academy in August of 2023 and we are grateful for your patience and continued support. We have many more exciting announcements coming your way this month so stay tuned!
