“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea."

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Mrs. Holeman

5th Grade Teacher

  • M.A. Theology, Bioethics, Holy Apostles College and Seminary

  • B.Sc. Elementary Education Interdisciplinary Studies, Liberty University

Mrs. Holeman is delighted to be part of the TCA community. A lifelong educator, she has

homeschooled her nine children and taught in both the public school system in Colorado and

private classical schools in Oklahoma. Teaching has been her lifelong vocation, second only to

her role as a mother, and she approaches it with passion and joy.

Whether exploring the beauty of mathematics, diving into the Great Books, or guiding students

through the finer points of etiquette, Mrs. Holeman delights in awakening a sense of wonder and

a love for learning. She firmly believes that with the right support and engagement, every student can pursue excellence in any area.

When not at home in Broken Arrow, she enjoys discovering new hiking trails, kayaking quiet

waters, and finding her next favorite book. Her favorite pastimes include a good game of chess,

translating medieval Latin texts into English, and enjoying meaningful conversations with family

and friends.
