Ms. Brennan was born in Maryland, and spent the first ten years of her life growing up in the backyard of our nation’s capital, which jumpstarted her deep love of American history. Ms. Brennan moved to Tulsa with her family, and came to consider it her home. A love of the classical liberal arts led her to the University of Dallas. She began her teaching career in Phoenix, Arizona with the Great Hearts network of classical schools. She discovered an incredible passion for teaching, and considers it to be a true vocation. She spent seven years in Phoenix with Great Hearts, before learning of TCA and finding the opportunity to return home.
When not in her classroom, Ms. Brennan is an avid reader. She has a strong passion for Russian and Irish literature and a deep love of poetry.
